Yahoo! Groups offer a convenient way to connect with others who share the same interests and ideas through a web site and email group. It is an easy-to-use, privacy-protected, and spam-protected environment. You can use the Yahoo! Groups service at the Yahoo web site or through ANY email program. Fair Share Farm has a Yahoo! Group for CSA membership communication and harvest duty swapping (http://tech/groups.yahoo.com/group/fairsharefarm_csa/).
To get started you will need to link a Yahoo! ID to any email address you wish to use for the group mailings (this can be an email address you frequently use or one you have set up for mailing list activity). If you don't already have a Yahoo! Fair Share Farm CSA is a private group. Our Moderator, Linda Coussens
will approve you. This will take approximately 24 hours from the
time you sign up on-line.
Yahoo! Groups can be set up to be accessible to the public, but this
group is private and messages posted, pictures shared and other information
will only be accessible to our group members. However, remember that
if you post a message or reply to a posting, everyone in the group will
receive a copy. Please be considerate and direct personal interactions
to direct email addresses instead of carrying on a conversation within
the group if it is not a group matter.
Feel free to delete the email messages you receive in your in box once
you've read them – the posts, comments, replies, group calendar,
etc. are always saved at the Yahoo! Groups website (unless deleted
by the site Moderator).
